Welcome to the Theo Walcott book website

Hi, I’m Theo Walcott and welcome to my new books website. Here, you can find out all about my series of books, the characters in the stories, as well as lots about me, top football tips and some great footie facts.

When I was younger my nickname was TJ. Like the character in my books, I didn’t begin playing football seriously until I was ten years old. Just seven years later I was called up for the England squad for the World Cup in Germany!

My friends and I were really lucky at school. We had a PE teacher who always helped us and was always on our side. He was a bit like Mr Wood in the story. There are bits of me in the story too…

Enjoy my books and website, and remember to keep playing and practising! Who knows what might happen to you – maybe you will get the chance to play for your country some day!

New book out now! Read extracts here.
TJ and the Cup Run

TJ and his friends get a terrible shock when their old teacher, Mr Potter, returns from illness to take over from Mr Wood as PE teacher at Parkview School. Worse still, they are about to play in the semi-final of the Cup.

Will Mr Potter's bad tactics lose them the match?

Match of the Day magazine reporter interviews Theo about his books!

T.J. and the Hat-Trick gets a cracking review in the Guardian:

“Theo’s own story of developing his exceptional speed and striking skill that in the book causes him to fell the irate head teacher but in reality made him the fleet-footed darling of the Emirates at only 17 is threaded through the story. Good on detail, nicely written with a light humorous touch, Theo shows as sure a foot in print as on the pitch.”
