Hi, I’m Theo Walcott and welcome to my new books website. Here, you can find out all about my series of books, the characters in the stories, as well as lots about me, top football tips and some great footie facts.
When I was younger my nickname was TJ. Like the character in my books, I didn’t begin playing football seriously until I was ten years old. Just seven years later I was called up for the England squad for the World Cup in Germany!
My friends and I were really lucky at school. We had a PE teacher who always helped us and was always on our side. He was a bit like Mr Wood in the story. There are bits of me in the story too…

TJ and his friends get a terrible shock when their old teacher, Mr Potter, returns from illness to take over from Mr Wood as PE teacher at Parkview School. Worse still, they are about to play in the semi-final of the Cup.
